Hi guys i'm completely new to the forum and fishing in Uk...but put all of that behind me bought my rod license and went for a try in the park. Today from 1800 to 2100 was there, don't know the name of the place but it was close to the sign with the parkmap just before a left turn. Was impressed, lots of fish and they went crazy with the bread...saw one big fish lots of small ones and cought one. Dont know the name...was not very big, i thought it was a small barbel but just don't know. Having some problems with baits and general setup, some doughts about what to use and where to fish. Any help more than welcome... tks Tiago

hi Tjbettio, good to see new members on the website(hope you are a member of MHPAC), well done with your first fish from the wandle. I`m sure if you spend a bit of time on the bank in the park you will meet some of the more helpfull members and great characters we have in the club(look out for ZIGI and JED). Most will if asked explain the sorts of fish you are likely to catch and best spots to fish from. Im likely to be fishing friday evening till about 9ish, but that depends on the wife and work. But please dom`t be afraid to ask the members you see fishing as we all have to start somewhere and most are only too willing to give advice/help when needed!! tight lines!!!
