Any ideas or thoughts on getting together and having a fun match in the park, i know theres limited swims but could be a laugh....?

sounds like a good idea im sure Jed would like to get involved but he does not have internet, im not sure of anyone else who would be up for it maybe Zigi?

Sounds like a plan, have spoken to jed and hes up for it. (anyone else up for it??) will have to arrange a time thats good for us all. im off to ireland for a week or so but will talk more when im back.

Im back and still sobering up....... managed a bit of sea fishing off the rocks but couldt tell what it was i caught, some strange looking fish type things with teeth??

Anyone know how the fishing has been, have not been down for a couple of weeks..

Any dates for a little match, it would be better for me to have it on a sat/sunday due to work but may be able to squeeze a week day in??

To get to Seven Islands, from the Ravensbury pub roundabout walk diagonally across Common towards Manor Road. Main path leads to the pond.

Hi pete, did you manage to get down the common, i was there again yesterday and theres hardly any water left in there, The guys done a great job getting the fish they did manage to save and believe me there was a lot of tench i would put it into the thousands what was put into the wandle, I got at least 200 in the short time i was there just in one of the small pools there and they were put in the wheelie bins with the rest, its mad to think they were saying that its illegal to remove the fish yet they had the digger running over them and digging them out and letting them die on the banks..

Change of subject, still fancy getting together for a little match, would be good to see what comes out and good to see some elastic stretching.. was going to have a go sunday morning but depends on how much we disturb them on saturday, what with the cleanup....

Saw a couple of lads taking stuff today about 2 o'clock - they had some tench and a crucian, no less! They were putting them into One Island, which was possibly a bit silly as a similar exercise is planned for there AFAICR from looking at the MCC plans - but they weren't to know that. Suggested they put them in Tedders (?) or near the Goat.

Heard today that my MHPAC membership is in the post, so pencil me in for the match. Just hope me joining doesn't put the mockers on the weather.

wouldnt mind a bit of rain, although its forcast for thurs and friday...
