Took my 10 year old son fishing under the Hackbridge Carshalton, Sunday afternoon for 2 hours, using Lidl's bacon bits as bait. Before I could tackle up he had landed a superb one pound 6 oz, Brown Trout. With an additional brace of small Chub it was two hours well spent.
great stuff it look's like trout are coming out all over the wandle ,for the past few months i've been takin them from wandsworth not as big!!! as your son, up to about 3/4lb . next time down i'll take some chip's with me i know carp love them.
