Well done wayne, what a start.... That koi vanished for about a year, I thought it may have been nicked or gone over the weir, see it just before the season started and its now on my radar...lol. Think the last person to catch it was Tell?
Good double barbel to kick start the season and a five pound chub
Finally i have seen one of those elusive barbel apart from the small ones that used to roll over my hemp.
Not fished the wandle for a couple of years now, before MHPAC took over, was always told, you should have been down yesterday, the barbel were feeding.
Have had chub to about 4 1/2lb mainly on flaoting bread or paste. Looking at getting out again later in the season with mate.
