Good morning fellow anglers. I have lived around the area of the Wandle for years and have only ever fished the free section between the road bridge at Windsor Avenue (the other side of Bunces Meadow) through to Merton Abbey Mills. I have bagged small chub and roach there, nothing sizable. I found mhpac on the web by 'accident' yesterday, got in touch with Tom Main and then had a look at the Morden Hall Park stretch; it looks gorgeous. I met Jed on the bankside, picked up a few valuable tips and later today, I will pay my fees and then give it a go. Any tips from anyone? What about any other parts of the Wandle that are worth a cast? Hopefully, my next post will be with a picture or 2! Tight lines............
A CLUB MEETING IS TO BE HELD AT THE BURN BULLOCK PUBLIC HOUSE, 315 LONDON ROAD MITCHAM AT 7PM ON MONDAY THE 22ND OF SEPTEMBER. PLEASE COME ALONG TO MEET OTHER MEMBERS AND THE COMMITTEE. THERE WILL BE A FISHING TACKLE RAFFLE AND A CHANCE TO RAISE ANY ISSUES THAT YOU MAY HAVE. HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE
