Hi nicekev. Frightening isn't it when you look at the shelves in the fishing shop and it all looks alien. What happened to rod, float and maggotts? If your just gonna take the kids along for a few hours fun, you dont have to join a club, as most of the Wandle is free fishing, so you can just find a spot and fish it, as long as you have a rivers agency licence that is. Hope you enjoy it.

Hi Holleyna, thanks fo the 2 replies, will make a few equiries about the quiver rod. Had a look round the Morden Park today to try and find the fishing areas but as no one was around to ask or help me ( I know its the closed season  ) I only found shallow flows but the fish were plentyful near the bookshop and watermill. I am thinking about joining this club but need somemore info. Is this the only fishing area that MHPAC have?
