Removing the pennywart from around the island was great as we watched the flow start to move through again.

The clean up was a real eye opener for someone who has yet to fish that section of the river. Nice deep runs in some sections; and what suprised me was the depth of that channel we cleared of weed in the Rose Garden.....up to my chest; but looked at it on Monday and it appears only 2' deep because of the layers of silt and leaves. Will be interesting to see how that changes throughout the winter months.
