Tel, that's exactly what I thought when I read about the carp; the EA probably think the Wandle is unsuitable for carp, so why are there so many in there doing well?
exactly mate. will admit u dont see fry but then you dont see perch or little whiskers so spawning must be in safe back waters. and how many are killed for tests to see if they are safe for commercial waters? i wouldnt want to stock em without tests !!
