very good last 2 weeks

i have had a very good last couple of weeks up the river private and free bit.
had a few barbel upto 10lb 01oz
chub upto 3lb 10oz
some nice roach and eels, dace,monster gudgeon and a trout.
its seems to be fishing quite well at the present so will be back up there tomz for a few hours but we need rain for the bigger roach to feed....

Good to see I'm not the only one been having some decent fish out of the Wandle lately....had massive gudgeon, some lovely dace and a brace of 1lb roach from the rose garden area. Sadly no barbel yet but had chub to 3lb 5oz in the last few weeks.

Two barbel on luncheon meat last night from Bunces Meadow, one tiny one and a four pounder. No chub though which surprised me.

sounds like you have had a great couple of weeks fishing on the wandle ,wish i could say the same,havent done that much on the wandle this season biggest barbel 7lb biggest cap 7lb, been fishing penton hook alot
lately for the pike with mixed results.would love to do a sesh with you sometime soon maybe you could pm your number so we could arange it.anyway tight lines and speak soon darren.
