Ok I was out down deen city farm and noticed that there is an area stating
MORDENHALL PARK ANGLING CLUB FORUM
Members only
now it appears I would have to pay £20.00 to fish this section of river,.
My question is what do I get for my £20.00 does this fee go to the up keep of the river?
What am I paying for? as this is common ground and not private property surly I can fishing here whether I pay for member ship of not?
If someone would be kind enough to answer my question.
Now the reason I as is that my kids have asked if we can go fishing, and I don't want to be stepping on peoples toes, and I will not be paying £70.00 per year to fish tooting and watch the carp roll over..
also I would be interested in helping with the clean up of the river.
